Human research

Now comes the human part.

We're shaping the next stage of Beyond Iron+ research to understand how our phosvitin-derived peptide formulation performs in people. Whether you're curious about future participation or work in clinical research, we'd like to hear from you.

One question worth testing

Same iron. Different delivery. That's the question.

Does adding a defined phosphopeptide preparation to the same iron regimen change the measured outcome, with acceptable tolerability?

The proposed comparison: an iron regimen plus the peptide preparation versus the same regimen without it. Measuring absorbed fraction asks about uptake; following ferritin asks about iron-store response. The primary endpoint is not yet finalized.

Study design remains subject to an independent investigator or clinical research organization, statistical feasibility, required ethics and regulatory authorizations, and a finalized protocol.

The questions guiding us

Measure the journey, not just the dose.

Iron uptake

How iron availability and uptake can be assessed within the study design.

Ferritin response

Changes in iron-store markers, interpreted in clinical context.

Tolerability

Participants’ experience of taking the study formulation.

Adherence

How consistently participants take the formulation over time.

These research aims will be defined in the final study protocol.
